Story Of DDT:
Paul Muller ,the inventor of DDT given Nobel Prize for Discovering DDT which was believed to be life saver for Human kind from pests.It had used extensively in a way even dog milk had identified with traces of DDT.Complete story of the DDT was revealed in the book "SILENT SPRING"indicating there is no song or chirping of bird in spring since every bird wiped away due to extensive use of DDT.
DDT has been phased out from 120 countries to use as domestic or industrial purpose but Nobel prize have not been taken back.
Today same story line goes with pesticides which is engulfed whole cultivation land of world.
Facts About Pesticide used vegetables, fruits and any other food product:
1.Pesticide causes cancer,birth defects,aggravates asthma and many more .
2.Children are more vulnerable to pesticide residues in vegetables because of less developed immunity system.
3.Pesticide used food products can seriously harm pregnant women and fetus.
4.Most of the pesticides are byproduct of petroleum causing acute damage to ecosystem.
5.Pesticides will pollute the precious water body like rivers,wells,tanks.
6.Fertility of the land destroy over the year.
Why would pesticide has not been banned to use in agriculture if they are not safe ?
Like alcohol and tobacco ,pesticides are legal toxic product.It has not been banned for the same reason alcohol or tobacco not banned.
