Bio-Fuel and Fossil Fuel

India's last year budget is 11 lakh crores out of that 4 lakh crore has spent on only oil to import from foreign nations. In India daily  consumption of diesel and petrol is 17 crore litres and 6 crore litres respectively.  Nearly Diesel consumption accounts to 75% of total fuel consumption (Petrol, diesel, gas).
India is  5th largest contributor of global CO2 emission.450 MMT out of  1100MMT of co2 emission is from burning fossil fuel.

1.Rudolf Diesel proposed his engine which works on bio fuel.He believed that his engine will phenomenally help agricultural nations since bio fuel produced from plants like pongamia.
2.Rudolf died at the age of 55 mysteriously and many people claim that he was killed by German government to hide diesel technology from UK.
3.Petroleum industry misled the diesel technology by replacing bio fuel with another byproduct of petroleum oil and naming it as diesel fuel.
4. Bio diesel has fewer harmful emission compare to petroleum oils like petrol and diesel.
5. Bio diesel is less toxic even less than table salt .
6.It degrades as fast as sugar.
7.Durability of engine increases.
8.Currently bio diesel cost equal to that that petroleum diesel since technology in nascent stage .
9.4 KG of Pongamia(Honge) seeds produce 1 KG of oil .1 KG of oil produces 0.750 litre of diesel.

Many people shows  concern about food security if bio fuel promoted. But  lakhs of land till today have  not been irrigated and considered as waste land.Plants which are used to produce biofuel can grow in waste and hot climate.
